BOZEMAN PARKING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION 2018-06
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOZEMAN PARKING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA,
OFFICIALLY NAMING THE EXISTING PUBLIC PARKING (`SURFACE') LOTS IN A MANNER THAT
IDENTIFIES THEIR STREET LOCATION, AS RECOMMENDED IN THE 2016 DOWNTOWN STRATEGIC
PARKING MANAGEMENT PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Bozeman City Commission created and empowered the Bozeman Parking Commission
pursuant to Resolution Numbers 1676, 1839, 3803, and 4577; and.
WHEREAS, the authority granted through the previously listed resolutions, and Title 7—Chapter 14—Part 46
of the Montana Code Annotated, permits the Bozeman Parking Commission to assign names to the surface parking lots for
the purpose of operational efficiency and easier identification by the general public; and,
WHEREAS, the 2016 Downtown Strategic Parking Management Plan recommends the renaming of all public
parking `surface' lots in a manner that makes it easier for the general public to locate and utilize the public parking system;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED the Bozeman Parking Commission assigns the following names to
the public parking `surface' lots within the B-3 zoning district, and instructs that all signage, legal and general
documentation,reporting, and other communications reflect only these names:
• Rouse Lot(located at 315 E. Babcock Street)
• Black Lot(located at 106 E. Mendenhall Avenue)
• Willson Lot N (located at 41 W. Mendenhall Avenue,next to 5 West)
• Willson Lot S (located at 24 N. Willson Avenue,neat to Armory Building)
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Parking Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana,at a regular session
thereof held on the 9"' day of August, 2018.
