Please explain your relevant qualifications, interests and experiences:
The Board of Ethics interests me as it plays a key role in the local government structure. Holding advisory
groups and employees responsible to their constituents is no easy task but, something that I am prepared
to take on. I have read literature on the subject of Ethics in the context of Bozeman and the Montanan
community. I prepared myself by reading over the 2016-2017 cases in Montana and growing a background
on the subject. I have served in multiple organizations as a head leader. I am a very conscious, detail
oriented person which I feel plays well with my commitment to the Ethics Board. In my Field Organizing
position, I often do community outreach and make a significant effort to gather community opinions. I
manage six interns, all of which I encourage to go above and beyond and do more than simply Voter
Registration. Their opinions and actions inspire me to become a more involved community leader which I
plan to do through the Ethics Board.

Please explain your relevant qualifications, interests and experiences:
I was once appointed to this Board, then decided to run for Commission. I was involved in writing the
Montana Mediation Association Ethical Code, I have presented to the State Bar of Montana on Lawyer
Ethics, and I taught business ethics at MSU for a semester. The topic has been of interest to me for many
years. I recognize that the ethics for lawyers, mediators are not the same exactly as those that would apply
in government. However, a lot of the principles are the same and I think I could add to this Board that is
currently one member short.
