BACKGROUND: The Bozeman Tourism Business Improvement District Board has one vacant position due to a term expiration. One member has reapplied. In August, 2009 the City Commission created the BTBID Board to manage the newly created District (Cht. 2.90, BMC). The mission of the Board is to promote tourism that generates room nights for lodging facilities in the city of Bozeman by effectively marketing the region as a preferred travel destination. The Board is comprised of seven members appointed by the City Commission, serving staggered four-year terms. Board appointees must either be a property owner within the District or the duly authorized designee of an owner of property within the District. The Bozeman Tourism Business Improvement District Board currently has one vacant position. The City Clerk’s office has received one application. 1. One position expiring July 31, 2022 | Qualifies: L.
