RECOMMENDED MOTION: I move to appoint one member to the Audit Committee with a term ending March 1, 2020. BACKGROUND: The Audit Committee has one Citizen with Some Expertise in Finance,
Accounting, or Management position available. One new application has been received.
The role of the Audit Committee is to advise the City Commission regarding selection of an auditor, monitoring the audit while in process and reviewing the comprehensive annual financial
report in detail, forwarding a recommendation to the Commission.
The Audit Committee currently has one vacancy. The City Clerk’s Office has received one application, with their relevant qualifications indicated below. 1. Citizen with Some Expertise in Finance, Accounting, or Management, expiring March 1,
