We live on this corner, and everyday we see how unnecessarily congested it gets at the stop signs on Sourdough trying to turn onto/cross Kagy!!!! Reasons: 1) Costs less long term! 2) Safer than uncontrolled or light controlled intersection. 3) Fair to drivers coming from all directions. 4) The flow of traffic coming down the hill from Highland Blvd. RARELY has gaps to allow cars to pull out because of the stop sign at the top of the hill. Traffic turning right onto Kagy rarely has to wait for cars coming from further to the West, meaning it is a constant flow of traffic that RARELY has gaps in it for cars on Sourdough to cross or merge into. This creates huge jams and long waits at the stop signs. It is almost equally as bad as cars coming from the East on Kagy as well. If you would like I would happily provide some video footage of an average rush hour period and just how bad the situation is for cars at those stop signs. If there is no plan for this, what can I do to try and make the city make it a plan? Thank you! Matt Wenger 2110 Sourdough Rd.
