I am wondering what happened to the dedicated green, left-turn arrows at many intersections?
There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to the places the yellow, blinking, left-turn arrow hasbeen placed-some intersections are low traffic load, and then other intersections that need a
dedicated green arrow have been changed to the yellow blinking arrow!! Fowler intersectionis such an example!! If you are trying to make a left hand turn onto Fowler from Huffine
during rush hour-good luck. The yellow blinking arrow doesn't provide the opportunity for aleft hand turn!! It's a disaster!!!
It seems there was an operable system in place, and then it was changed based on the state's
traffic study of Bozeman. I'm sure by now the study is obsolete with the exponentiallyincreased traffic load!!! First, why is Helena making decisions about Bozeman traffic? They
don't live here, they don't use the roads on a daily basis, they don't know what the traffic needsare!
Please reinstitute the dedicated-green, left-turn traffic light arrows where they once were. The
new changes are horrendous and ineffective!
