Please explain your relevant qualifications, interests and experiences:
I have been working as a Landscape Architect in Bozeman for 13 years. My wife and I started Design 5
Landscape Architecture in 2009 and I have been involved in more than 500 projects in the Bozeman / Big
Sky area.
My experience includes working in an Architecture & Landscape Architecture office where the two
practices were intimately linked and relied on each other for success. My understanding of Architecture
and Design leads to better design outcomes for the community and our Clients.
I have served on the Yellowstone Club Architectural Review Committee for the last 5 years and have been
tasked with review and approval for all designed and built landscapes.
At Design 5 we have a large volume of City work. Story Mill Park, downtown redevelopment projects, HRDC
affordable housing, subdivision planning, multifamily, private residential, PUDs, and commercial work. I
have an intimate working knowledge of the code and how it applies across and wide variety of zoning
districts.
