On behalf of the City of Bozeman, I would like to welcome you to our community and the
State of Montana.We place great value in the diversity of thought and experience you bring to
our city,and we look forward to sharing and engaging with you.
As a member of our community, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a top-ranked
university,world-class recreation,and a thriving local culture.Bozeman is home to a rich artistic
and cultural tradition,including theaters,symphonies,festivals,museums and much more.As
a national center for hi-tech and start-up activity,we are on the cutting edge of technological
and scientific development. Montana has one of the highest concentrations of non-profit
organizations in the nation who constantly strive to improve daily life for citizens of our state and
the world. I encourage you to explore these unique features of our community and to share
your own traditions and culture.
By welcoming people from diverse backgrounds, experiences and places, our community is
made stronger. You will find Bozeman to be diverse and accepting of your unique
perspective. As the safest major city in Montana, we place the utmost importance on the
principle of inclusion. You will certainly find this to be true in our higher education
