Dear Mayor Taylor ,
I’m writing to follow up on my last email about the growing movement to Stand4Forests.
Will you be a part of a national movement calling for expanded forest protection as a vital solution to climate
change? As you know, standing forests provide our communities with clean air, fresh water, carbon storage, are
home to thousands of species of plants and animals, and protect us from flooding and drought, making forest
protection a national and global priority.
Stand4Forests seeks to elevate this goal on a national scale by calling on elected officials like yourself to be
leaders for forest protection by endorsing the platform here. Mayors across the country from Florida to
Washington have endorsed the platform, including the mayors of Minneapolis MN, Gulf Port FL, and
Bloomington IN.
Endorse the Stand4Forests platform and stand with the countless others who also view healthy forests as an
imperative investment in our collective future.
