City Commission,
Falgers Inc., a family owned business, owns a parcel of ground at 2102 W. Babcock, Bozeman, MT. The property
had a building for many years and was cleared due to building obsolescence. We recently discovered that a
building permit would not be issued because there is no sewer capacity due to new development.
This property had contributed to the tax rolls for many years and after it was cleared we have continue to pay real
estate taxes based upon assessed value which does not reflect the fact it is undevelopable. How is it that the city is
preventing development in an older area of town at the expense of new development?
I was surprised that our investment is now worthless because of city planning. frustrated to say the least!
