Hello Cindy,
Several concerned nearby residents have voiced their concerns about the construction and
contractor conditions occurring at the low-income housing development at corner of WestBeall Street and North 24th Avenue. The contractors are operating without any safety
precautions, workers without safety helmets, soft shoes, etc. Now West Beall Street is nearlyblocked off with stacks of building materials and equipment, making it difficult for through
traffic, and any emergency vehicles. . The sidewalk on North 24th Avenue has been torn upsince early last fall 2017, people having to walk in the street. The operation needs to be
inspected and corrective action taken before there is an accident. OSHA would shut theoperation down, my opinion.
