Bozeman and the timeline that lead to demolition. The property was surveyed in 2014 and found to be eligible for the National Register. Because of this, it went through a separate demolition review process within the NCOD for properties considered historic. In 2016, the property was deemed a threat to public safety and no alterations or repair would remove that threat. Following, Board members held a general discussion regarding the demolition process. 06:36:00 PM (00:31:17) Board Member, Crystal Alegria spoke regarding the previous role of the Historic Preservation Advisory Board and how that would fit with the current projects associated with the Conservation Overlay or Historic Districts. 3. 06:40:25 PM (00:35:42) Bendon-Adams Contract (Discussion)  Contract Approval  Contract Schedule 06:40:25 PM (00:35:42) Gonzalez provided an update regarding the consulting firm selected to assist with the NCOD Update. Gonzalez noted that there are other major projects the city is working on this summer, including the Downtown Plan and the Growth Policy Update. They’ll take this into consideration when scheduling events to avoid public input fatigue. They’re expecting 4 visits from the consultant over the course of the update. 06:53:48 PM (00:49:05) Board members discussed whether overlay protection would exist for properties found not to be historically significant. During discussions, Gonzalez pointed out that whichever regulations are most restrictive are those that would take precedence. 4. 07:14:35 PM (01:09:52) Draft Inventory RFP (Discussion) Gonzalez provided an update regarding a new historic inventory slated to be completed. Gonzalez pointed out that his plan for this RFP is to be broader in order to receive more detailed action steps from the applicants. Board members then held a general discussion regarding the focus/priorities of the inventory. The RFP is slated to be posted after budget approval, likely in July. 07:36:39 PM (01:31:56) Gonzalez reviewed the guidelines for Historic Preservation and the NCOD.
