1) 07:03:23 PM (00:02:26) Gran Cielo Preliminary Plat – Application 17522 (Saunders)
A Preliminary Major Subdivision application for a residential development located on approximately 48.8
acres northwest of the intersection of Graf Street and S. 27th Avenue. This subdivision will contain 124
residential lots and additional tracts for open space, stormwater control, public parks and streets.

07:03:23 PM (00:02:26) Planner, Chris Saunders, provided an overview of the proposed project.
07:06:47 PM (00:05:50) Saunders reviewed and addressed the public comment received regarding the
project.
07:12:31 PM (00:11:34) Saunders responded to questions and comments from board members
07:21:12 PM (00:20:15) Project Engineer, Chris Budeski, of Madison Engineering replied to questions and
comments regarding the project’s infrastructure, including streets, water, sewer and traffic.
07:42:52 PM (00:41:55) Jim Ullman of Morrison Maierle represented Highlight Village Investments and
voiced his support for the Gran Cielo development.
07:43:51 PM (00:42:54) Marshall Bennett (5532 Stucky Rd), commented that this type of development will
eventually take place, so he supports it.
07:44:56 PM (00:43:59) MOTION – Having reviewed and considered the application materials, public
comment, and all the information presented, I hereby adopt the findings presented in the staff report for
application 17522 and move to recommend approval of the subdivision with conditions and subject to all
applicable code provisions: Chris Mehl

A presentation from the Bozeman Area Community Foundation regarding the upcoming public discussion
forum project, Seat at the Table.

07:55:18 PM (00:54:21) Jennifer Boyer, a steering committee member of the Seat at the Table initiative,
presented to the board, explained the history, how and why the initiative was started. The Seat at the Table
committee met with the Planning Divisions/Departments from Bozeman, Belgrade and Gallatin County and
other large community players to involve them in the mission. The initiative strives to create a more
engaged community.
