SUBJECT: Acceptance of street easement for Nelson Road and authorize the City Manager signature as part of the Park Place 2018 Annexation, Application 18056. MEETING DATE: June 11, 2018
AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent RECOMMENDATION: Accept the street easement for Nelson Road and authorize the City Manager to sign the easement.
BACKGROUND: The applicant submitted application 18056 to annex 70+ acres into the City and to apply a zoning classification of M-1, Light Manufacturing, to the subject property. City staff recommended approval of the application. On April 9, 2018, the City Commission held a public hearing and unanimously voted to annex the subject property subject to contingencies. One of the required
actions was provision of a street easement for Nelson Road to meet adopted City standards for street
width.
