Intent to Create SID No.745
•The Resolution of Intent is the first step in the
process of creating an SID.
•It does not create the SID,but notifies the public
that it Is the Commission's Intent to do so.
•It is Required by the Montana Code Annotated.It
must do the following things:
Designate the number of the proposed district
Describe the boundaries of the proposed district
State the general character of the Improvements and
give an approximate cost for them
Specify the method of assessment to be used

-Construction of roadway and
related improvements(storm
drainage,lighting pedestrian
improvements)to West Oak
Street between North Ferguson
Avenue and Davis Lane and
roadway improvements to
Ferguson Avenue between Oak
Street and Baxter Lane.

Cost of the Improvements and
Method of Assessment
-The District's share of the
improvements will be assessed using
the lot area method.
-The cost of the improvements and the
District's share of those costs are
outlined on Exhibit D.

Public Benefit of the
Improvements
-The improvements constructed
especially benefit the District by
providing for the construction of
complete streets adjacent to the
District.This will provide safe
access to and from the Park,not
only for vehicles,but also for the
many pedestrian and non-
motorized users of the Park.
