ITEM 3. 09:33:37 AM MINUTES OF January 28, 2015 There were concerns about the draft meeting minutes from January’s meeting. Various suggestions
about voting and the tabulation of minutes were given. Ralph Zimmer made a motion to table the approval of the January minutes. Jeff Krauss seconded the motion.
09:35:33 AM During the discussion of the motion, Stacy Ulmen, City Clerk, spoke regarding the requirements of the minutes. The recorded minutes are the official record.

09:46:33 AM Motion and vote was passed to table the minutes until the next meeting.
ITEM 4. TCC COMMITTEE/MEMBER REPORTS & PROJECT UPDATES (Members of TCC who sit on other related committees, are invited to report on such activities that are of interest to the full TCC)
A. Transit Committee 09:47:39 AM
Lee Hazelbaker gave an update about changes to the routes and timings expected in the fall as well as new transit buses that have been ordered. No questions or comments.
B. Gallatin County (Commission, Planning Board, Road Department) 09:50:54 AM Steve White talked about upcoming budget meetings. 09:52:24 AM Chris Scott discussed Planning projects and a joint project with the Montana Department of Transportation involving a proposed light off of Huffine between Gooch Hill and Love Lane. 09:53:07 AM Bill Brownell talked about road improvements. C. City of Bozeman (Commission, Planning Board, Engineering Department) 09:53:40
AM Rick Hixson spoke about the Bozeman Area Transportation Master Plan update and upcoming City transportation projects. He answered questions regarding improvements to the intersection of Cottonwood and Huffine.
10:01:07 AM Jeff Krauss introduced Brett Potter as the new City Planning Board representative and spoke about upcoming intersection improvements and funding of Arterial and Collector Street improvements. D. Bicycle Advisory Board 10:06:00 AM
Bill Cochran spoke about upcoming Bike to Work Week and answered questions regarding changes to the State Legislature related to bicycle requirements. E. Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Committee 10:08:21 AM Ralph Zimmer discussed the city gas tax proposal as well as ways the committee is trying to encourage better driving habits at the Gallagator trail crossing on Church Ave. He also updated TCC on the Community Transportation Safety Plan. No questions or comments.
F. Montana Department of Transportation 10:10:45 AM
Rob Bukvich gave an update on the Belgrade Interchange project, Kagy reconstruction and the Rouse project.
G. Montana State University 10:11:54 AM

Bob Lashaway discussed the MSU Transportation Plan and MSU’s interest in the Kagy reconstruction. He also spoke about other various transportation projects happening at MSU. H. Other TCC Member/Committee Reports: None ITEM 5. OLD BUSINESS: None
ITEM 6. NEW BUSINESS 10:17:56 AM Montana Department of Transportation’s Statewide and Bozeman Area Traffic Management Plan Presentation
10:19:27 AM Danielle Bolan, P.E. – Traffic Operations Engineer Danielle Bolan gives her presentation on the statewide management plan. Ms. Bolan discussed the 70 Signal Groups, 8 of which are in Bozeman. The overall goal is to provide safe and efficient traffic signal operations. Implementation, operations and maintenance strategies were discussed in detail.
