I'm a homeowner in Valley West, across Babcock from the proposed Icon Apartment development. While I may
suffer some negative consequences from it, I believe the development does more good in net for Bozeman
We cannot complain about high housing prices in Bozeman and then in good faith block attempts to build a large
number of units. This project would add significant supply to the affordable end of the market.
We cannot complain about traffic in Bozeman and then block high-density development near stops for two of
Streamline's routes.
In zoning compatibility terms, the project seems appropriate to sit adjacent to Valley West, which is at least R-3.
It is better these 350 units sit near Huffine and Cottonwood, two arterials, than 350 units scattered further afield in
the county.
