To the City Commission; the proposed Icon apartments across Babcock from Valley West are
going to change the atmosphere of the area. True, there are commercial buildings on Huffine and apartments along Cottonwood already, but I am concerned about two things; 1 - the huge
amount of traffic from the over 300 parking spaces, 2 - the lack of required open space in this project. I am told that the balconies on the upper two floors are counted as “open space.
REALLY?! They will be private space!! I am wondering what is Mr. Delaney trying to do, other than making more money for himself at the neighborhood’s expense.
Please consider denying or at least largely altering his proposal.
