Dear City Commissioners,
The purpose of this letter is to urge you to place the Icon Apartments project on the agenda for Monday's meeting,
and to allow additional time for citizen comment. Ten days was an insufficient period for comment. As
owners/members in the Cottonwood Condominium Association, our neighborhood will be significantly impacted
without some modification.
Our main concerns are as follows:
1. The apartments will come out to Resort without enough set back.
2. The planned three stories will negatively impact those of us whose condos back Resort. Please consider two
stories, in keeping with height of neighboring condos and town homes. Unlike the HRDC apartments on
Cottonwood, which are closer to Billion Motors, Icon will essentially abut our condos. We feel that three stories
right out our back door is inappropriate.
3. It is our opinion that Resort, Palisade, Fallon, and other streets cannot handle traffic and parking that Icon
Apartments would generate.
We citizens, who would be most affected, need adequate time to comment during the City Commission meetings.
