SUBJECT: Approval of professional services agreement in the amount of $99,990 with Logan Simpson for professional services in support of the growth policy update and authorization for the City Manager to sign the agreement on behalf of the City.

RECOMMENDATION: That the City Commission approve the professional services agreement with
Logan Simpson and authorize the City Manager to sign the agreement on behalf of the City. BACKGROUND: The City Commission funded an update to the city’s growth policy, the Bozeman Community Plan, in the 2018 Fiscal Year. The City identified a need for consultant services for
professional services to coordinate public outreach, analysis, summary of findings, design, and
preparation of the plan. After completion of a solicitation and review of a request for proposals Logan Simpson was selected. For fiscal year 2018/19. Additional funds allocated by the City Commission for the Growth Policy
update project in FY 2019/20 may be applied and are a part of this agreement.
A standard professional services agreement was executed by the contractor. The signed document and required insurance certificate are provided.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None determined at this time.
ALTERNATIVES: As determined by the Commission. FISCAL EFFECTS: Contract cost of $99,990 is within the amount funded in the 2018 fiscal year
budget.
