Dear Bozeman City Commission Members-
The Women's Foundation of Montana stands in strong support of the Bozeman area's efforts to
increase women's equity and opportunity by working to reduce discrimination in economic,
cultural, social, and political arenas.
As an organization that has invested in research into the economic status of women for the last
15 years and is currently an active partner in the Governor's Equal Pay for Equal Work Task
Force, we applaud your efforts thus far and stand ready to provide assistance and support as
you move forward. Our hope is that your work might be a model that we might replicate in
other communities across the state.
We feel these efforts are directly in line with the Women's Foundation's work to advance
economic independence for Montana women and create a brighter future for our girls. We look
forward to being a partner in this vital effort.
