Application Number: 18085 This letter is in regards to the Proposed Exemptions per Montana Code Annotated 76-2-402 as
they relate to the second Bozeman High School (application number: 18085).
Along with our neighbors, Dale & Donna Isaacs, we emphatically reject your proposed
exemptions. The bond for the second High School was passed with the six regulations noted
in your public commentary letter. You have been awarded funding for all six of these points
and we, the residents of North Cottonwood Road would appreciate seeing them enacted as
originally planned for. At the time our homes were being constructed, we, the homeowners
were required to comply with city code and we see no reason that there should be an
exception for a public entity, such as a school.
It is absurd to think you would wish not to develop the required school landscaping and
therefore not go along with all the efforts Bozeman is pushing for "going green".
We do not wish to look out the front of our homes at parking lots, nor do we wish to have
students parking in front of our homes. There should be ample parking in the High School
parking lots you are required to develop.
Please follow through with what has been approved for in the bond you were awarded and not
be hypocritical in your actions by making homeowners follow rules that you do not.
