Subject: The Board of Trustees through the Department of Community Development
Please note that I strongly oppose the exemption of these codes with the new development on Cottonwood. These codes were established for a reason, and not holding up any kind of standard is a really poor reflection of the choices being made with regards to our city and our public schools. Please learn from the mistakes other growing cities have made. Rapid growth without concern for our environment and its beauty does not benefit any of us! I am proud to be a part of BPS and I think our schools should reflect to the community (and our kids) our values and belief in maintaining green space.Thank you,Sheri Blackwood
