I just heard about the recommendation of adding 2 hour parking to the MSU parking district for non permit
holders.. I live on south 3rd across from MSU property. The MSU side of the street is posted 2 hour parking.
The MSU side of the street often fills with bumper to bumper parking all day long while MSU is in session. I
believe changing the residential parking permits to allow 2 hour parking will create DeFacto overflow MSU
parking for our entire neighborhood. The current permit system works well for us. We have guest passes
that allow our visitors to park along the curb near our house.
