Currently, although we purchase two visitor parking permits, they are of limited value since there is rarely parking available for our guests near our home. Whatever revenue the city derives from these permits would dry up as they both would become useless. Many times, people park in front of our home without permits and there is currently not enough enforcement; the proposed scheme would require much more enforcement, once again increasing costs to the city. This past week, the cars in front of our home were parked so densely so that one extended to partially block our driveway, requiring us to maneuver Stone it to leave or home. A home blocked in by cats and where nobody can visit is not a home. Please don't make an already bad situation far worse by increasing public parking in front of our home.
