Solstice’s design team for the Drought Tolerant Landscape and Irrigation Designs for City Medians includes Errol Schumann and Geoff Hammond. Errol earned a degree in Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University in 2004. As a Landscape Architect in Colorado he worked in a collaborative design environment to design parks, open spaces and innovative road frontages for high end communities and resort projects around the United States. His landscaping experience started with maintenance and landscape construction in the mid 1990’s. Errol started designing commercial, residential and institutional landscaping solutions in Bozeman, Big Sky and the surrounds in 2008. He now is part of the Solstice Landscaping team as Professional Landscape Designer and Operations Manager overseeing our Landscape Design, Landscape Installation, Lawn Maintenance, and Garden Maintenance Divisions. Errol’s professional passion is working with clients to craft innovative, beautiful, eco- friendly landscape solutions which live and breathe and display a succession of harmonious colors and textures that evolve throughout the seasons and over time. MT. 59715 | 406.587.2250 | info@solsticelandscape.com Geoff, began his career in landscaping by working with four different companies located in the areas of Santa Fe, NM, Reno, NV and Bozeman, MT from the years of 1998-2001. He and his wife Grace started Solstice Landscaping in 2003. Throughout the past 15 years, Geoff has been responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of numerous projects in Bozeman and Southwest Montana. Geoff’s years of conceptual and field experience contribute immensely to Solstice’s Landscape Designs. Geoff is well versed with industry standards, installation practices, codes and products within the irrigation industry. He has successfully designed and installed hundreds of development- scale, commercial, and residential irrigation systems in the Bozeman area. His expertise will prove valuable in the design of irrigation systems for all of the medians and roundabouts described in the scope of this project. Together, Geoff and Errol bring over four decades of relevant experience to the design table for Solstice Landscaping and we are both enthusiastic about designing beautiful, drought tolerant, low-maintenance landscape solutions for our community’s roadways which will stand the test of time and display how beautifully our community can be landscaped while conserving water! Errol will be the Project Manager for the Median and Round About project. His role as Professional Landscape Designer and Operations Manager allows flexibility to schedule meetings with design clients and time to execute their design projects. Although we have many clients, if awarded this design contract it would be a top priority for Errol and Solstice Landscaping. Errol will be available by cell phone during business hours with the exception of a few site visits to projects where there is no cell reception. In this case we check our office voicemails regularly. Currently Errol has no planned time off for this year but if this were to change he would communicate ahead of time and make arrangements with the City representatives to ensure that the City was not left in a holding pattern and that Solstice Landscaping continued to meet the needs of the City. Errol works year round for Solstice Landscaping with hours loaded heavily in the landscaping months and fewer in the snow months but again, would provide necessary time for the City’s needs.
