Dear Mayor Andrus and City Commissioners, HRDC has been working with Greg Stratton, developer of The Lakes at Valley West and City
staff to implement the Affordable Housing Ordinance. As the first development subject to theordinance, we acknowledge that there is a learning curve where opportunities for improvement
will be identified. At this time, HRDC, as the City's agent, has worked with Mr. Stratton tofacilitate purchase agreements for low and moderate income buyers that will benefit from
these additions to the CIty's affordable housing stock. We believe that the PUD modifications
requested continue to meet the intent of the ordinance and hope that the commission concurs.
