I have a few concerns about the proposed annexation of the property off of Nelson Road. As
Bozeman continues to grow, annexation of rural lands are going to be the future. I am not against
annexation, and development that is planned out with great thought. This piece of property would
be great for industry and its business campus. Google, Facebook, and other high tech companies,
not more “Storage Unit Rentals.” I live and own property down Nelson Road, and to see more
storage units at the intersection would be terrible. This is a unique piece of land with stunning views
of the Bridger Mountain Range.
Please give plenty of time planning what and what cannot be developed and built there. MDOT has
the city’s infrastructure plumbed to their property, and this makes sense to development that
requires water and sewer and a good tax base…………
