Park Place Annexation and Zone Map Amendment, Annexation of Approximately69.263 Acres and Amendment to the City Zoning Map for the Establishment of a Zoning Designation of M-1, Light Manufacturing; Located at the Northwest Corner of the Intersectionof Nelson Road and Interstate 90 Frontage Road, the Property Consisting of Three Parcels of Land, Application 18056 . I have two comments on this item. The first is to ask you to remember the proposals for astand alone bike path along the frontage road which, I believe, are in the current plans when the frontage road is remodeled. Please don't do anything that you would later have to undo inorder to make this bike path a reality. The second is to consider including light business such as a grocery store, coffee shops, or thelike in addition to light manufacturing. This would make this area more people friendly and not just increase traffic because of people going to and from work. Actually,, it could reducetraffic because folks could stop on the way home at a grocery, hardware, or such to get items instead of making a separate trip.
