I read (BZN D Chron 3 Apr 2018) of your deliberations regarding sites selling alcohol.
I don’t like to think of Bzn as ‘the city of alcohol..’
Having a wine with supper is great,
but when we agree that it is not to be sold to children (<21)
it should not be pushed in their faces..
I think wine/beer should be available at some, even most, upscale‐ish dining places.
And be sold with food, with limited possibility of an on‐premises bars..
I think that bars and breweries selling alcohol should be available, but finite.
The old state rule regarding schools and churches should be maintained.
Thus, I feel that your meeting
Was a good opening discussion, but action was premature…
