BUT I would love to visit your city. Are you a Star Trek fan? A LOT of people are. A LOT of people are like myself and we travel to see real places with fictional connections: the Rocky Steps in Philly, the Field of Dreams in Iowa, or Forrest Gump's bench in Savannah, GA. I'm not kidding - a lot of money for your city could be made because of fictional tourism (that's REAL money, but has attractions relating to fictional events). Here's another example. Riverside, Iowa is the future birthplace of Captain James T. Kirk. They have a monument and everything. I've gone there just to see that. Bozeman already enjoys strong tourism I imagine being so close to real attractions. In fact I've driven past your city many times on the way to them (Yellowstone, Lewis and Clark Caves, etc.) . But I never had a reason to actually stop in the city. You could change that: Build a monument to Wrap Drive and First Contact! (build it and we will come - guaranteed!) http://www.startrek.com/article/45-years-from-today-first-contact-day Forty-five years from tonight – on April 5, 2063 -- the Vulcan survey spacecraft T’Plana-Hath will land in Bozeman, Montana, after following the warp signature of the Phoenix, a ship that represented the human race’s first successful attempt at achieving warp drive. Soon after, a robed Vulcan, will offer the Vulcan salute and meet Dr. Zefram Cochrane, pilot of the Phoenix and the inventor of warp drive. First Contact will be etched in history, and it will pave the way for the formation of the United Federation of Planets.
