The final deadline for comment on the Design Excellence draft documents is next Tuesday, April 3rd. If you would
like to comment and have not yet done so we appreciate any feedback you have on the project.
As a reminder, the Design Excellence Project is aimed at promoting high quality design in Missoula’s downtown
and commercial corridors and includes a combination of design guidelines, design standards, and incentive
programs. The project involves developing potential zoning overlay standards for commercial corridors and the
downtown as well as a design manual for additional design guidance. The Draft Design Excellence set of Standards
and the Guidelines Manual are available on the website at
www.missouladesignexcellence.org<http://www.missouladesignexcellence.org>. Comments on the draft
regulations can be submitted via web comments<https://www.ci.missoula.mt.us/FormCenter/Development-
Services-15/COMMENT-FORM-Design-Excellence-Project-230>, emailed to
design@ci.missoula.mt.us<mailto:design@ci.missoula.mt.us>, or by mail to City of Missoula, Development

Library and the City of Missoula, Development Services office.
