I urge all our City of Bozeman and Gallatin County Commissioners to work together to build a new City-County
law and justice center. As a citizen and voter, I cannot support any ballot measure that would develop separate
facilities. I applaud Sheriff Brian Gootkin for his letter in today’s Bozeman Chronicle. Wasting any further time or
public monies on efforts to develop separate facilities does not serve the public interest. The process of
collaboration has quite clearly been frustrating for all parties concerned; nevertheless, it is obvious that the highest
and best use of public monies and the Bozeman/Gallatin County community is to have a new law and justice center
on the current campus grounds that will serve both city and county.
Thank you, in advance, for your thoughtful consideration.
Sincerely,
Betty Stroock
