Amendment No. 1 to Construction Contract with R& R Taylor Construction, Inc.
for
Story Mill Community Center Renovation Project
THIS AMENDMENT NO. 1 is made as of this day of &AAQLVr ,2018,
between the CITY OF BOZEMAN,a Municipal Corporation, whose address is P.O. Box 1230
Bozeman,Montana, 59771-1230 (CITY)and R&R Taylor Construction, Inc., a private
corporation,whose mailing address is 1775 Love Ln, Bozeman,MT 59718(CONTRACTOR).
WHEREAS, the parties entered into an Agreement dated January 9,2018 for construction
services for the Story Mill Community Center Renovation Project(the"Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, revisions to the scope of services are necessary to complete the Project in
order to provide contingency for unforeseen code upgrades and other needs; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the provisions of the Agreement.
NOW,THEREFORE,IN CONSIDERATION OF THE MUTUAL COVENANTS
CONTAINED HEREIN,the parties agree to modify the Agreement as follows:
Article 1—Scope of Work: Article 1 is amended as set forth in Change Order No. 1 to Scope
of Work for Story Mill Community Center Renovation Project("Exhibit A"). The
conditions and provisions set forth in Change Order No. 1 are hereby incorporated in and made
part of this Amendment 1.
Article 5—Contract Price: Article 5 of the original agreement is modified with a reduction of
$40,100 for a new contract total of$209,900.
Except as specifically amended herein,the original agreement shall remain in full force and effect
and the Parties shall be bound by all terms and conditions therein.

Scott,
After looking over the change in scope for the Story Mill Park Community Center. Our new
proposal is $209,900. We have eliminated the cost for most of the HVAC work (on attachment)
as well as our electrical scope for the HVAC equipment. As mentioned on the phone. We can
lower the cost of the Red Oak doors by$900-$1200 if you so choose. Let me know if you
have any questions or concerns.
