PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials. Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-and-one-half story double-family residence has a rectangular
plan with a recessed corner porch with a slight hipped-roof extension. The two-
bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an offset front entrance with fixed,
and 1/1 double-hung windows with leaded glass in the front windows and shutters
' on the side windows. The frame construction is finished in bevel siding and
rests on a cut stone foundation. The gambrel-gable roof combination is covered
with red asphalt shingles and features gabled dormers and a central brick chimney.
The axis of the main roof is perpendicular to the street.

Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any
significant historical information concerning persons or events
associated with this property.

Identical in design to 515 W. Olive Street, this house is an excellent
example of a typical Colonial Revival style pattern book house in Bozeman,
and remains well preserved.
The original owner may have been Fred W. Bull , a rancher. In 1927, Eugene
F. Bunker, a lawyer, was living here.

This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic
district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic
Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
