PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,

This detached one—story single—family gable—fronted residence has a square
plan with a recessed entry at the front left (southeast) corner of the structure.
The facade consists of the recessed entry, with wood corner posts and entrance, and
a single double-hung one-over-one window on the nonrecessed wall to the right (north) .
The frame construction is finished in asbestos siding and rests on a concrete
foundation. The gable roof is covered with grey asphalt shingles and features
over-hanging eaves, exposed rafters and two metal stovepipes at the ridgeline.
The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. A log garage is located to the
rear of the property. The gable front is shingled and the logs are painted.

aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman's historic/architectural development.
