PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-and-one-half story single family, gable-fronted residence
has a square plan with a rear addition. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical
and consists of an off-center glass-paned front entrance flanked by
a band of three double-hung windows with 3/1 sash arrangement to one side,
and a single double-hung 1/1 window on the other side. The frame construction
is finished in roughcut wood shingles, which cover the foundation. The
gable roof is covered with light green asphalt shingles and features
flared and bracketed overhanging eaves. The axis of the roof is perpen-
dicular to the street. Outbuildings include a shed and a garage of similar
materials.

Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any signifi-
cant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this
property.
Significance: This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a
potential historic district due to its association with the residential
aspect of the Progressive Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural
development.
