PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with a
flat roof side addition and shed-roofed rear addition. A gabled entry hood also
projects in the front. The facade is asymmetrical and consists of an offset front
entrance with gabled bracketed hood flanked by a double-hung window with four-over-one
sash arrangement. The side addition has a similar four-over-one double-hung window
facing the front. The frame construction is finished in wood shingles and the
side addition is sided in composition horizontal siding. The foundation is not
visible. The gable roof is covered with asphalt sheathings and features a metal
stovepipe to the rear of the ridgeline. The roof also features overhanging eaves and
exposed rafters. The axis of the roof is parallel to the street. Outbuildings include
one shed, constructed of wood.

Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any
significant historical information concerning persons or events
associated with this property.
Significance: This structure qualifies as a contributing element due to
its association with the residential aspect of the Nationalization Phase
of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
