PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-story single family residence has elements of the
foursquare workingman ' s cottage. It has a square plan with enclosed front
entrance porch and projecting east wing, each with hipped roof. A garage
is attached to the west side.
The facade consists of the enclosed hipped entry with off-center entrance
flanked by double-hung windows with 1/1 sash arrangement in a continuous
band. The front face of the east wing presents a single double-hung 1/1
window to the north.
The frame construction is finished in drop siding and rests on a rubble
foundation. The hip roof is covered with green asphalt shingles and features
hip-roofed additions, and two brick chimneys , one central and one exterior
on the east face.

Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any
significant historical information concerning persons or events
associate& with this property.
Significance: This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a
potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect
of the Civic Phase of Bozeman' s historic/architectural development.

property.
The historic integrity of this property has been retained due to the survival
of original design and materials, and the continuity of use, setting and
location.
