PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structurelsite,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This 12 story single-family residence has a square plan with cross gables
and a rear addition. The facade consists of a central entrance flanked on
one side by a fixed "picture" window and on the other by a vertical double-
hung 1/1 single window. At the second :.half-level is a pair of double-hung
1/1 windows. The frame construction is finished in asbestos shingles at the
first level (color) and at the second half-level (brown) . The house rests on
a concrete foundation. The cross-gabled roof is covered with asphalt shingles
and has a metal stovepipe at the ridgeline of the left (east) cross-gable.
A newly added exterior concrete block fireplace rises from the left (east)
wall , near the front corner.
