PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached 12-story multi-family residence with elements of the bungalow
style has an ell-shaped plan with a projecting shed-roofed entry at the
interior angle of the ell . The facade consists of a recessed east bay with
sheltered entrance flanked by a double-hung window with 1/1 sash arrangement,
and a projecting west bay with off-center entrance flanked by a fixed tran-
somed window on one side and a double-hung 1/1 window on the other side.
A double casement window marks the upper half-story within the front-facing
gable end.
The frame construction is covered with wood shingles and features an
extended west slope on the east wing, a shed-roofed dormer on the east slope
of the east wing; and overhanging eaves and exposed rafters on both wings.
A metal stovepipe is situated near the ridge of the west wing.

of Bozeman's historic/architectural development
