PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,

This detached 12 story single-family upright-and-wing residence has a T-shaped
plan with a salt-box-like shed-roofed rear addition and a small shed roof
supported by a metal post comprising an open entry at the interior angle of
the T. The facade has two bays, one consisting of the sheltered front
entrance, which is falnked on one side by a pair of double-hung 1/1 windows.
The second bay has a similar apir of windows centered at the first level and
a small single window within the gable end of the second half-level . The
frame construction is finished in vertical wood siding which covers the foun-
dation material . The gable roofs are covered with wood shingles.

This property is associated with the B( i family, providers of ice for Bozeman
for many years.
Significance: This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a
potential historic -district due to its association with the residential
aspect - of the Civic Phase of Bozeman' s historic/architectural development.
