PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-story commercial structure has a T-shaped plan which includes
a projecting enclosed front entrance. The facade consists of two bays. The principle
entrance by resembles a sunporch with offset double glass-paned transomed entry
flanked by a continuous band of four-over-one double-hung windows. The entrance is
accessed by wooden stairs from the side of the open deck which presents to the front
and east side a wood ballustre. The enclosed entrance by is gable-fronted as is the
secondary bay of the facade which has a very broad gable which almost encompasses the
entry bay. The recessed secondary bay features a continuous band of fixed windows.
The frame construction is finished in lapped-wood siding with cornerboard and rests
on a concrete foundation. The gable roofs are covered with metal sheathing and
feature overhanging eaves. The axis of the roofs are perpendicular to the street .
