PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,

This detached two-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with a
shed-roofed front porch with solid railing. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical
and consists of an off-center front entrance with 1/1 double-hung and fixed
windows with a leaded glass window over the fixed window. The frame construction
is finished in asbestos and rests on a foundation that is not visible. The
gable roof is covered with blue asphalt shingles and features overhanging eaves
and two brick exterior chimneys. The axis of the roof is parallel to the street.
HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site
and surrounding area lend the property significance.
Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any
significant historical information concerning persons or events
associated with this property.
This structure is an intrusive element within a potential historic district.

RE.' (COA/ADR#Z-03283), Request for a Certificate of Appropriateness for the demolition
and removal of the two-story structure at 502 West Lamme Street, and the subsequent
treatment of the physical site, located within Bozeman's Neighborhood Conservation
Overlay District.
Physical Description:
This detached two-story, residential structure displays physical evidence of a fire that
occurred inside an adjacent shed in June 2003 (Note: The shed was completely
destroyed in the fire). The shed-roofed front porch is missing from the original structure.
The frame construction is finished in asbestos, which has been removed from some areas
of the house.
Historical Significance:
Currently, the structure stands as a non-contributing element within the Bozeman's
Conservation Overlay District.
Integrity:
Currently, the property retains poor integrity within the Bozeman's Conservation Overlay
District due to its extensive change in original architectural design and materials.
