PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,

This detached one-story single-family residence has a square plan with a steep
gable-roofed front vestibule. The frame construction is finished in masonite
lapped siding, has 2/2 double-hung, 4-pane casement and fixed windows. The
structure rests on a concrete foundation. The axis of the roof is parallel
to the street., and is covered with cedar shingles. There is a central brick
chimney- at the top rear of the gable roof.

Non-contributing due to age , this simple house is a significant
example of both 1940 ' s infill , and typical , inexpensive
housing of the period .
It was probably built by Frank E . Hoey , employee or owner of
the Bozeman Sheet Metal Works , for he and his wife , Hermina
Hoey.
