This two-storied single-family residence has a square plan with projecting front entry bay with gabled roof. The facade consists of fixed and casement windows, shed roofed entry porch with modern metal supports and slightly offset entrance. Its frame construction is finished in asbestos siding and its foundation is not visible. The gable roof is covered with asphalt shingles and features over- hanging eaves and a metal stovepipe. The axis of the roof is parallel to the street. Alterations include the metal support of the porch area as mentioned as well as a modern brick foundation to the porch. One of the windows on the second story has had glass blocks installed. Outbuildings include a garage set to the rear of the lot. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events assdciate,d with this property. Significance: This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman' s historic/architectural development.
