PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-story single-family residence has a greek cross plan which includes
a hip-roofed addition on the north and a shed addition on the south, along with
a gable-roofed bay on the front and three shed-roof entry porches. The three-bay
facade is asymmetrical and consists of an offset front entrance with fixed and
double-hung windows in the bay. There are decorative corner brackets with a leaf
motiff and carvings in the woodwork on the front and side entry porches. There
are also diamond-designed shingles in the gable ends of the bay. The frame con-
struction is finished in stucco and rests on a concrete foundation, which extends
8" beyond the frame all the way around. The hipped roof is covered with cedar
shingles and features boxed eaves.

potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect
of the Civic Phase of Bozemans' historic/architectural development.
