PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a rectangular
plan with a projecting gable bay in the front extending over an enclosed front
porch. The porch has glass block windows flanking either side of the door and
there are fixed and casement windows in the rest of the structure. The frame
construction is finished in 8" hardboard siding with board and batten in the
gable ends, and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with
red-grey asphalt shingles and features a metal flue in the front of the house.
There are other gable-roofed additions to the north and east. The axis of the
main roof is parallel to the street. The original form has been extensively
remodeled. Outbuildings include a rear shed.
