PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials. Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a greek cross
plan with a wrap-around porch on the east and north sides which has a hip roof.
This roof has a small gable to define the entry. The one-bay facade is asymmetrica
and consists of an off-center front entrance with one fixed window and a
leaded glass transom above. Turned wood posts support the porch roof, and a
wood floor porch. The frame construction is finished in white masonite and
the foundation is not visible. The gable roof is covered with blue asphalt
shingles and features overhanging eaves and a central metal stovepipe. Alter-
ations include wide horizontal siding and outbuildings include a white metal shed.

Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any
significant historical information concerning persons or events
associated with this property.
Significance: This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a
potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect
of the Civic Phase of Bozeman's historic/architectural development.
