PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance, noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features. This detached one-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan. The one- bay facade is symmetrical and consists of a central glass-paned front entrance with 1/1 double-hung windows. The cement stoop has a metal railing, and the windows have decorative shutters. The frame construction is finished in vinyl siding made to look like wood and rests on a raised concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with red-grey asphalt shingles and features overhanging eaves with exposed rafters. There are two chimneys of brick. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. Alterations include wide horizontal siding. Outbuildings include a shed. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance.
